The front elevation had suffered some light surface damage and algae build-up within the panel joins, requiring our specialist preparation techniques.

We recommended a 2K polyurethane coating in MG’s signature red with a 50% gloss finish. While dryfall paint is typically our go-to solution for live dealership environments, we were able to coordinate vehicle movement during spraying, allowing us to use this superior coating system that delivers exceptional UV protection and durability.

Carrying out the project

Our team began with a thorough cleaning process to address the algae build-up and surface contamination, followed by our usual high standard of preparation work to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.

Using a scaffold tower system for safe and efficient access to all required areas, our skilled technicians applied the specialist 2K polyurethane coating with meticulous attention to detail. This advanced coating system not only provides a flawless finish but also offers excellent UV protection to maintain the vibrant red colour in all weather conditions.
